Companies are missing the mark

#Unemployment rates are staggering in Alberta – stability is a thing of the past. Threatening staff with layoffs and downsizing is a way some managers bully employees to meet their end to earn their bonus.

Unfortunately, organizations don’t police their managers, or train them effectively. Managers intimidate and threaten as a means to an end. It’s far easier to get rid of anyone who requires extra support than it is to offer any.

This is sad. Especially when exit interviews are rarely conducted to zero in on the offensive managers, or the employees are simply written off.  This drains company resources wasting recruiting, hiring and training costs.
