Hormone Junkie, Mid-Life Crisis or Mortality Overload?

why the heck not, eh?

I’ve been active on social media for about 12 years on LinkedIn (with current connections 3500+).

That evolved onto Twitter at the encouragement of Sandy Hubbard, who I connected with on LinkedIn, one of my virtual first BFF and recommendation (listed).

You can make connections, lasting a lifetime, without ever meeting IRL (in real life), that are deep and meaningful.

I’d be catty and dishonest if I didn’t admit, I met HH by a mutual connection, because he was recommended to reach out to me because my exhusband, father of my children, and I signed on to a “Collaborative Divorce Agreement” ~ which basically says you mutually agree to put the kids first in all negotiations and withdraw the right for any subsequent legal action. That’s my take on how I understood it to mean.

HH was suggested to reach out to me to inquire how we’d agreed on a coParenting Agreement which was admired by many:

  • the kids would spend time with us equally, 2weeks on to 2weeks off, dividing the summer by me July and their father, August. Yes, dad had to take care of the back-to-school hustle, we split the extra-curricular outside of school activities sign ups. Based on a formula that was set at both our highest income years to 60% him and 40% me. I encouraged the kids to sign on for school activities- the best way to nourish young minds is to expose them to higher education by being culturally, socially and academically aware, expanding their horizons beyond a small nucleus of home, which can be suffocating stifling if kids just go to school, back home, friendship tight circle.

That all meant more driving, of course.

I wouldn’t redo a second of the journey I went through, or gone through. The choices that I made were practical ones while juggling a rising career.

A good career comes from a good education. Education is not all academic.

Strong, learnt experiences contributed to stronger evaluation and coping tactics.

Coping skills on steroids.
