The new age Yuppy

I created the above image by blending a free APP from @Apple as I use my iPad more and more.

House bound more than usual, my coping go to is creativity: writing, painting, creating or capturing ideas on art, decorating, beautifying my home and garden as best as I can.

Try may be the operative word, multitasking with iPad while my soon-to-be failed attempt at watching “Easy Rider” Rob has fallen asleep to, with the remote control fisty-cuffed tightly in his grip. I may be the only forced retiree who has never seen the movie, still.

To write a blog is to formulate one consistent thought with information, sourcing and quotes to lend it credibility while technologically sending out microscopic feelers around the web to draw folks back to your website or blog.

Q: Is it better to have a website or use a blog service like the hugely popular +WordPress or powerful Alphabet|GOOGLE | BlogSpot platform.

A. I started out blogging after encouragement from inquiries on Linked IN sales groups where I answered questions on sales or shared my opinions, whereby the first gravitational pull came from folks who responded to my vibe and how I articulated words.

I decided on BlogSpot because logic told me if I want to write a blog, I wanted it to be on a reputable platform that had perfect brand recognition and powerful engines amassing information. No surprise, Alphabet, Google’s parent company spun from Google itself, is THE biggest/best/wealthiest company in the world: who all others aspire to be like or adopt ideas from …. keeping the rogue economy where people steal ideas and frame them as their own (my own early first hand experience of sharing ideas on LinkedIn where it was common for others to plagiarize other’s ideas.

That’s what got me started blogging

Pinpointing my own creativity and blooming ideas that can take different courses or multiple maps but fall under the idea of learning.

Social Media : adventure of learning

The reason I joined Twitter (20,000+ followers +2mil views) to use it as a tool to promote my blog or attract readers or subscribers. What I discovered was a cool tribe of adventurers and early adopters who discovered/created #hashtags :: the method to which singular ideas are linked or the ability to participate in conversations (very early hashtag chat on sales scheduled weekly which attracted a top crew of supporters and attendees).
